the go! team was awesome fun on wednesday :) they started at 745 and ended at 845. one of the shortest gigs i've ever been to. i think all mosaic shows held at heineken music club are only an hour. anyway we got complimentary beers and they came, FREEZING, in this 130ml aluminum bottle. it was so awesome, cold beer and everything, except c & i had to pee like two songs into the band's set. haha i finally found someone else whose bladder is as bad as mine. i also accidentally spilled some beer on c's shoe. i mean, i didn't like totally douse his shoe with beer, just like half of it maybe? gross right.

they played quite a bit of songs from proof of youth, and ended with my two favourite songs, do it right and keys to the city. before the gig, there was this guy working for the esplanade going around offering us earplugs and we declined him because we thought "ya right how loud can it get". but it was pretty fucking loud and my ears were ringing for about half an hour after that. even i didn't get that for green day or paramore or whatever. i wonder how loud dinosaur jr was then. it must have been pretty epic. oh well.

i felt dizzy with happiness after everything.

now seeing as how much fun i had at the go! team, i really regret not going for of montreal last year. i hope they come back!

next gig: COPELAND'S FAREWELL TOUR. i have such mixed feelings about this.
